“Robin Hood” could be one of Hollywood movies which are released in 3-D theaters. According to The Wrap, a source close to the project told them that director Ridley Scott “is breathing down the neck of executives” at Universal Pictures to give an approval for making a 3-D version of his action adventure film.

20th Century Fox has been moving forward with “X-Men: First Class”. After tapping Bryan Singer to direct the movie, the studio has also hired Jamie Moss to write the screenplay and work with the helmer for the project, The Hollywood Reporter mentioned on Thursday, December 17. Josh Schwartz was initially attached to pen the script, but there has been no explanation for the replacement.

Despite a good reception for “The Dark Knight”, it appears that Warner Bros. Pictures has not had any plan about making the sequel. Recently, one of the “Batman” stars, Michael Caine, told British magazine Shortlist that he doubted the studio will ever make “Batman 3″.

The first full clip from the much-anticipated “Ninja Assassin” has been brought forth by MTV. Around one minute long, the snippet is filled with action sequences, which include sword fight in the middle of oncoming traffic, and filled with impressive stunts. It captures Rain’s Raizo as he is trying to make his escape from the gang of ninja sent to kill him.

One of “X-Men” spin-offs is likely to be pushed forth soon enough. Filmmaker David S. Goyer, who is attached to direct “Magneto”, recently talked with MTV, assuring that the movie is just “one in a long line of potential X-films”. And while no progress has been reported on the project lately, the director who helped penning “The Dark Knight” believes it will eventually pick up speed.
