Brittany Murphy’s Funeral Planned for Christmas Eve

Late actress Brittany Murphy will be laid to rest on Christmas Eve, E! News reports. She will be buried at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in the Hollywood Hills, which is well known as the resting place for some famous Hollywood stars, like TV stars John Ritter and Freddie Prinze, and pianist Liberace just to name some.

In related news, Murphy’s body has been transported to the venue in preparation for funeral and burial service, which according to E! News, is said to be "strictly private." At the time of writing, there has been no word on who will attend the service and no public memorial has been announced too.

Brittany Murphy was pronounced dead on Sunday, December 20 after going into full cardiac arrest. Autopsy has been completed, but the 32-year-old actress’ cause of death won’t be officially determined until the next four to six weeks, awaiting the completion of pending toxicology, histiological and neurological tests.
