Taking digital photos can be effectively maximized using the following techniques:

   1. Compose better pictures: use the rule of thirds. It is dividing your screen into nine equal parts and composing your subject off center within the "divided" screen. This will create drama around your subject.
   2. When taking digital photos of your baby or pets, zoom in closely (if your digicam has capabilities-the higher the resolution the clearer quality) as much as you can filling the entire frame. It crops certain portions of the subject and enlarging them creates an interesting visual.
   3. Use natural lighting (sun, lamps, moon etc.) when indoors if you shoot still life or portrait. It's like "painting" magically with a digital camera.
   4. Vibrant colors works well online, choose subjects with blazing or saturated colors: colorful balloons over bright blue sky, yellow orange autumn leaves, rainbow sweaters on a playground.
   5. Cropping makes subjects more interesting: zooming in to a lovely face, animal skins, clothing patterns.
   6. Fill your frame with much details providing visual texture. Be patient when filling your frame, timing is also crucial for taking great photos.
   7. When shooting indoors with low lighting, shoot with steady hands as much as possible to avoid blur. If you can't help it, try to anchor your arms within your body.
