So Many Options For A World Of Warcraft Account |
| When I first decided to create a World of Warcraft account, it was a new thing. There was no such thing as world of warcraft power leveling, and the cosmos of Warcraft was pretty small. I think there were only a few thousand players at that point, which made things quite interesting. It was a real community, and you knew both your friends and your enemies quite well. The world of Warcraft community, however, has grown massively since that point. I am ashamed to admit it, but for many many months I spent practically my whole life online thanks to that game. My World of Warcraft account ate up time, money, and a relationship. I never, however, took it as seriously as some people do nowadays. They have ruined the game by taking everything too far.
You see, people buy and sell World of Warcraft accounts nowadays. Basically, everything is for sale. There is a service called world of Warcraft power leveling now, where you can pay money to have your characters account automatically increase in power and gain many levels. This takes the whole point of the game.. world of Warcraft players like myself who have spent many hours upgrading our characters and fighting in various quests have apparently wasted all that time now that Blizzard Entertainment has decided to simply sell experience to the highest bidder. I know that the world of Warcraft game is just a game, but a game is ruined when people cheated out of it. This is a fully immersive, interactive environment, but now plot continuity has been sacrificed in the name of making money.
I personally think that it should be illegal to buy or sell a World of Warcraft account. Of course it would be difficult for blizzard entertainment games to enforce these rules, but nonetheless it would discourage the practice. If you want to have powerful World of Warcraft accounts, you should spend the time playing the game. That is how most of us have gotten to where we are, and there is no reason that someone should have special privileges in the game just because they can dish out a little bit of dough. It just doesn't make sense to me that they would do that. It makes a World of Warcraft account almost meaningless and the game into a pathetic sham, if you ask me. It used to be a pretty good game, but now I have my doubts.
