 Rose Petals - Symbol Of Beauty |
| Probably the one time in your life when you think about rose petals is when you get married. Many people like to have a flower girl, and sometimes they do more than carry flowers. I have been to many weddings were the flower girl has laid rose petals down along the aisle before the bride makes her entrance. This can be very beautiful at a wedding, but it can also be very messy. If you don’t want to use real roses for this purpose, you will be happy to know that there are fake ones out there that will look just as beautiful as the real ones.
I toyed with the idea of using rose petals at my own wedding. I even went as far as to order some samples of fake ones from the Internet. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the fake rose petals were quite beautiful, and I knew they would have made less of a mess in the church. In the end though, I decided against using the rose petals, and had my flower girl carry a basket of flowers. I recently found the samples of rose petals in my closet, and got them out to look at again.
I have no idea why I saved them, but there they were sitting in the back of my closet. The company had sent me a bit more than what you would call a sample. They sent me ten different colors of rose petals, and they had sent me at least 15 of each color. Had I really wanted to, this would have been enough for my needs. However, most people would want to order just one color, and getting that many colors in a sample would allow them to choose which one they would want to use.
I know it sounds silly, but for some reason I didn’t want to waste the rose petals. They didn’t really remind me of my wedding, but there was just something so beautiful about them that it seemed a shame to throw them away. In the end, I used them in a few packages I sent out to friends. They got back to me and told me that the rose petals they found sprinkled in the packages was a neat touch. I would never buy rose petals for this purpose and this purpose alone, but it was a great way to use up a sample that I had a hard time throwing away.
